This weekend was amazing. I must say, it was a great time of reconnecting with friends and getting outside to do some of the things I love. One of these things is paddle boarding. My pal and I took the boards from his house, on this quaint little island that he lives on, and paddled to a nearby island, docked the boards, ran the island, then paddled back to his place.

The best part of this story isn't that it's simply an incredible way to spend your day, rather, that I was able to do this twice this weekend. On Saturday, my sister and her friend joined us on the kayak, while the guys paddled. Not only is this a great workout, but a fun way to connect with friends and tour the bay.

Oh yeah, there's one other amazing thing that went down, on our way back to the dock, we took a huge leap off the bridge.

What an amazing weekend.

The Only Way to Spend a Sunday

There really is only one way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Today the family and I took some friends to our Sunday tradition, Felix's cafe in the circle of orange. This place is amazing, and has some of the most amazing dishes. There is one thing that I must say, Felix's is the only way to spend a Sunday, at least it's the majority of the way I've spent mine these past 15 years :-)

Surfing with Little Studs

This morning I went surfing with some little studs at Blackies. Little stud number 1 called me at 6:35 and asked if I wanted a sausage egg mcmuffin from McDonalds. I said yes to my first in years. He then picked me up and we met little stud number 2 in the parking lot. Little stud number 3 was in the water.

For a 27 year old, it was rad to get in the water with these little men. Not only are they little men with character, but super fun to spend time with. It was hilarious when this little grom would line up and catch all these waves. He was just a tiny little thing, and I would see this wave coming in, get super stoked, and line up to paddle in to a nice ride. Then just a tiny little thing would be in my outside ear, i got it, he'd say. Thanks just a tiny little thing for owning me.

Thanks little studs, for without watching you get owned by just a tiny little thing, I would have lost myself.

I'll be back soon.
